About Us

SpectraDigital Corporation (SDC), was founded by Dr. Satish Deshpande, with the mandate to commercialize new diagnostic techniques utilizing optical spectroscopy with an emphasis on light scattering-based measurement approaches in biological systems.

Dr. Deshpande and his team have extensive experience using light scattering spectroscopy for biological applications. For a number of years they have been developing technology that measures physiological processes at the cellular level. SpectraDigital Corporation is based in Guelph, Ontario, a convenient 45 minute drive from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
